Sprig Money (“the app”) is made by Atlas Learning Group, LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what the app does and doesn’t do with your data. It is written plainly on purpose.
The short version
The app keeps your financial entries on your device. We don’t run servers and we don’t collect your paycheck or expense data. The only data collection comes from the ads shown in the free version (Google AdMob) — and you can remove ads entirely with a one-time purchase.
Data you enter
Paycheck amounts, saved history, and rule settings are stored only on your device, using Apple’s on-device storage. We never receive or transmit them. Delete the app and that data is gone; you can also delete saved entries inside the app.
Advertising (free version)
The free version shows a banner ad through Google AdMob. For third-party advertising and analytics, Google’s SDK may collect a device/advertising identifier, advertising data, your IP address (used to estimate coarse location), app-interaction data, and crash/performance data. When you first open the app, we ask — using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency — whether you allow tracking. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but they won’t be personalized using cross-app tracking.
If you buy Remove Ads, no banner is shown and no ad requests are made, so the ad-serving data collection above stops. The Google SDK still starts with the app, and Google may still receive basic technical data such as your IP address and crash or performance diagnostics.
How long data is kept
Your entries stay on your device until you delete them or delete the app — we never hold them, so there is nothing for us to retain. Data collected by Google is retained under Google’s own policies, linked above.
Purchases
The one-time “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Apple. We don’t receive your payment details. Restoring the purchase on your devices uses your Apple Account.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
- Decline tracking at the prompt, or anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Buy Remove Ads to stop ad serving and its data collection.
- Delete saved entries in the app, or delete the app to remove all local data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “effective” date above will change, and material changes will be reflected here.
